Exposición James Frazer Stirling: Notes from the Archive
El vasto material producido por el estudio de uno de los arquitectos más famosos del siglo XX: esbozos, proyectos, maquetas, fotografías, junto a los recortes de periódicos, fotografías y documentos conservados por Stirling y sus colaboradores pueden verse actualmente en la exposición que presenta el CCA de Montreal.

La muestra proporciona una clave de lectura de la obra de Stirling que va más allá de las influencias a veces divergentes que han sido identificadas en sus obras, definidas como modernistas, de vanguardia, neoclásicas, racionalistas, brutalistas y posmodernistas, para entender la continuidad del pensamiento del arquitecto.

El material expuesto, procedente del fondo James Stirling/Michael Wilford conservado en el CCA, recorre toda la carrera del arquitecto partiendo de su formación en la Escuela de Arquitectura de Liverpool para continuar con los proyectos que le dieron popularidad, como el de la facultad de ingeniería de la Universidad de Leicester.
